Qualified Trainees for your Organization

The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce USA, Inc. (SACC-USA) is a network of 19 regional chambers in the U.S. with over 2,300 members in the U.S. and Sweden. SACC-USA’s mission is to facilitate trade, commerce and investment between Sweden and the U.S.

As a SACC member, your company has the opportunity to participate in the SACC-USA Trainee Program which enables people from Sweden to come to the U.S. on a J-1 visa. You get access to SACC-USA’s database with qualified, bilingual trainee candidates educated within the highly regarded Swedish educational system. SACC-USA will assist with the evaluation of candidates as requested. Your company may also use the SACC-USA J-1 visa service if you have already identified a trainee candidate or for employees in internal training or rotation programs.

The trainees participate in a structured and guided work-based learning program in an American business setting in order to gain firsthand experience of life and business in the United States. Areas of training include Management, Business, Commerce & Finance; the Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, and Industrial Occupations; and Public Administration & Law.

SACC-USA is a designated sponsor of the U.S. Department of State’s Exchange Visitor Program which promotes educational and cultural exchange in order to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries. SACC-USA issues the form DS-2019 (Certificate of Eligibility) required when applying for a J-1 intern or trainee visa at a U.S. Consulate. Use of the Exchange Visitor Program for ordinary employment or other work purposes is strictly prohibited.
