About UsPromoting Trade and CommerceThe Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia (SACC-Georgia) is a non-profit membership based organization. The primary objective of SACC-Georgia is to encourage and promote an exchange of business, trade, investment, technology and culture between Sweden and the state of Georgia, while providing members with a broad spectrum of services. SACC-Georgia is one of 20 regional chambers across the United States, cooperating under the umbrella of SACC-USA based in Washington, D.C. The chambers form a nationwide Swedish-American business network with over 2500 members. Together the chambers have served as a forum for Swedish and American business people since the organization was founded in 1906. SACC-Georgia arranges seminars, business meetings and provides information about Sweden and the United States. We direct Swedish and American business requests to appropriate contacts within the Chamber’s Membership and act in a liaison capacity to gather information and contacts from Georgia government and trade organizations. The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Georgia was founded in 1980 under the name the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta. In order to reflect our state wide presence we changed our name per January 1, 2008 to The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Georgia. Today we have more than 90 Business and Corporate members in our unique and well established network. |
